Abhyanga

Abhyanga is type of treatment and the word is derived from abhi, meaning "into" or "glow," and anga meaning "limb."

A full body treatment that will cleanse the lymphatic system. This treatment is done with the use of warmed up medicated oil. The oil base will be sesame, or coconut , with a proprietary blend of calming, lubricating, & rejuvenating herbs. This type of treatment helps settle the nervous system, cleanse the body of fat-soluble toxins, keep the skin, muscles, & joints soft, flexible and supple. The massage is done front and back of the body and takes one hour.

A sesame based oil with a proprietary blend of herbs that nourish, and lubricate the deep layers of the tissue, and joints.  The oil is gently poured  inside a dome made out of udad flour ( food-based lentil) Then the oil will be kept warm and replaced three times in the course of this 45 minute treatment.
